Ups and Downs

My frame of mind went from looking forward to summer skin to dreading the snowy conditions I have awakened to. Why am I up at 6:24 am on a sunday morning, you ask? To give the blind dauschsand his 3 units of Humulin, and feed the rest of the doogals. Clearly, fabulous. I've recovered from my most recent sicklies, but have definitely caught a case of the blahs.
Dear God, I need you to hurry up and make everything green again. The cheery demeanor that you blessed me with doesn't want to come out to play in all this white and gray.
Speaking of white... we got new stuff for mine/Austin's/wedding guest bathroom yesterday. Lots of new towels as well. I've been denying it, but I definitely have a problem. I love shopping for anything and everything. I am Alaysia and I'm a shopaholic. I couldn't agree with Rebecca Bloomwood any more; when I shop the world gets better. I'm trying to limit myself and save for this cruise and a few trips to Florida for however long I'm up here, not to mention the dental work I'd like to get done, the car I need to buy, and my future apartment. Oh, and school. Silly me forgetting about that. I'd really like to get back soon.

Off to play Cinderella vet to Copper and be a dutiful daughter around the homestead.
