Going to yahoo, to check my email, a story on their home page about Facebook my attention. Essentially, it's saying the when you ''Like" or post a comment on an advertiser's page, it will then become a "Sponsored Story" or ad for the rest of your friends to see on their home pages. What really caugh my attention about the story was the responses to this. People seemed shocked, and definitely upset in nature about the new Facebook feature.
Personally, I see no problem with it. Anything you post on Facebook in a public area can be seen by virtually anyone anyways. We're already told what our friend's likes are in our sidebars. The only difference is now people are getting paid for theses "likes", and, no offence, but if you like an advertiser enough to support it with a "like" why should you mind if they make a tiny profit off of it?
In this day and age, privacy is really becomming a thing of the past. Mostly everyone's online, and we've got an up and coming generation that will be entirely online.
So really, what's the big deal when you can't fight the inevitable?
