Maybe you are like me and you are the antithesis of cool. Maybe you never find out about new trends until they are almost over. Or my your grandma informs you of them (true story: I'm that lame).
Any way you slice it you, like I, probably had NO CLUE about these little things called silly bracelets. They are multi-colored, oddity shaped rubber bands which are a ridiculously hot commodity at the moment. I was informed of the craze this morning after getting in from a friend's house.
My grandmother was awaiting me with a pack of the silly bands.
I am now the proud owner of glow in the dark hippos and elephants and some sort of bird which may either be a flamingo or an ostrich (I'm noticing a subliminal message in the large mammals, thanks a bunch nanny).
Anyways apparently these shaped rubber bands are being traded like trading cards on campuses across the land. At the moment the company is entirely out of stock.
But maybe you've got a hip grandma who can score some for you like me...
