lots of birds with one stone

Two Weeks (Week Nine + Week Ten) of appreciations
Week Nine
  1. The sun, which has finally decided to grace Florida with its presence, and more importantly its warmth.
  2. 500 Days Of Summer. It's officially my most favorite film ever.
  3. Ikea. I can't wait to furnish my own place someday with all of their wonderful home oddities.
Week Ten
  1. Alasia still being on America's Next Top Model. It's so strange to keep hearing my name coming from the television (even if it is spelled differently it is still pronounced the same).
  2. My backyard. I think it is really quite unique. It's like an animal magnet too.
  3. A new month for a fresh start. March was kind of mad, I didn't accomplish much.
On #3 of week ten, I am speaking of not doing a single thing on my 101 list. Well I did read a book, Dear John, but it only took me like a day and a half to knock out so I don't know whether or not to count it as reading a book for March. I also really started gung-hoing the murder of Maggie. She's a little bit smaller and so are all her siblings and cousins. I guess I also made some new friends (one wild night on Clearwater Beach). I did spend like a day a week t.v. and internet free since I've been tanning so much lately (my goal is to be mistaken as a person of Spanish descent by the end of the summer). I guess I also listed things I was grateful for every week, and I spoke words of affirmation a lot everyday (it's amazing how often you get what you want when you sweeten up the parental units). But other than those things March was useless. I didn't memorize a verse, I didn't buy a lotto ticket, I didn't go get Madi at all, I did not dance everyday, I did not prayer journal at all, I didn't pray first and last thing everyday, I did not get my daily servings of water, and I don't think I spent a day without complaining not to mention any of the other items on my list.
So I fell off of the wagon, but I am getting right back on. April will not be another waste.

Verse for April - Isaiah 40:31. I just like this verse. It's kind of unbearably optimistic, which is what I used to be. I'm trying to get back to that place.
I started The Great Gatsby today which kills two birds with one stone (#'s 97 and 86).

Can't wait to see what the rest of April brings my way (see, I told you that I'm trying to get back to that unbearably optimistic place!)
