Pripyat - Phenom #2

The Ukraine city where time came to a complete and utter standstill one ill-fated day.
On April 26, 1986 reactor number four at Chernobyl plant had a meltdown resulting in a radioactive fallout. Over 336,000 people lost the life they had known that day and had to resettle elsewhere. The town still remains almost exactly as is, as a haunting tribute to the tragedy. Most of the dwellings still contain all the belongings of residents forced to flee.
Extremely dangerous levels of radiation still plague the area 24 years later. The Chernobyl disaster is the only event in history ranked a level 7 on the International Nuclear Event Scale.
