Purpose

I just, and by just this time I literally mean just, finished watching Julie&Julia. I really enjoyed the film. I mean what wasn't to enjoy - it's main events were blogging and cooking. I clearly have an affinity for blogging. Now by affinity I don't mean I have an inclination for it, I have no idea if my blog is any good or not. I'm not asking to find out either. I just mean that I like to blog. It adds a sense of purpose to my day, and has greatly helped me to organize my thoughts a bit more than they used to be. I have found a sense of self and a sort of belonging. I know that know matter what else is going on in my life this will always be here - I will always be able to sit in front of my computer screen and write what I want to write and feel however I want to feel. It's very refreshing to know that something is always there for you like that.
Since I watched the movie this evening I really want to cook something. I think I shall have a fresh meal prepared for my mother and grandma when they walk in the door. That's all that is on my mind for now so I shall end with this - Bon Appétit.
