Numerology

Well a while ago I posted a blog about my personality type - from a psychological point of view. I discussed my beliefs about psychology in that post and how I put a lot of stock into the science. I also put a lot of stock into astrological things too. I'm not talking horoscopes here, one does come along every once in a while that pertains to my life at that particular moment but more often than not there are just random and have nothing to do whatsoever with my life. What I am talking about is numerology. I am not into the occult belief of it, I don't practice readings, but I do believe that your name and birth date pertain absolutely to your life path. You were born at the precise moment you were, and given a name which would hereby define you in this life for a reason.

Here is my supposed reason:

Inner or Soul's Urge: This is spiritual and emotional expression more than physical. It is your heart-felt desires, your incentive, how you look at life.
You yearn for in every direction including expression of free will, change, variety, and constant new opportunity. You yearn to learn about life in all it's phases. The new, the unusual, the progressive - these are where your enthusiasms are. Waiting around, being stuck in routines, and petty details are personal agitations. Because of your desire to experience everything in life to its fullest before you let it go, you may tend to overdo sensual experiences such as sex, alcohol, drugs, and food. Instead of formal education, much of your wisdom comes from your tremendous range of activities and your contact with people from all classes, races, and walks of life. This can put you in great demand as an alive or witty lecturer or teacher. You tend to be flexible, progressive, and restless. You can enhance your life experience even more by increasing your sense of loyalty and your patience, better defining your purposes in life, and not scattering your attention so much by going in too many directions at once.

Personality: This is your physical expression more than spiritual or emotional, the way you present yourself when meeting others. It may or may not be the real you.
You present yourself as a special individual, imbued with self-reliance, originality, and strong will power. You often appear witty and dignified and enjoy being around other go-getters. With a definite goal, you can be enormously productive. You are prone to self-centeredness and want to be first in all things. Yours is a likeable personality and you can be most persuasive. To enhance this aspect of yourself, wear clothing with straight lines, well-fitted but loose, with bright and cheerful colors. If possible, do not be overweight.

Quiescent Self:Stripped of all outside influences, aspirations, ambitions, and shoulds and shouldn'ts, who you are are when you are alone. Just you and your dreams.
You are courageous and daring. You enjoy dreaming of accomplishments never before achieved, with yourself as leader or promoter. Your thoughts and pleasure are related to leadership and unique expression of self. Also, family and friends are a credit to you, people who can recognize your abilities.

Destiny or Ultimate Goal: This is your desired lifetime accomplishment. It is key to a useful and happy life, and feeling fulfillment in your latter days.
You desire responsibility, steadfast love, a harmonious home, domesticity, and maintaining long-held family traditions. The perfect environment for you has ease, comfort, beauty, music, and harmony. You empathize with those who, through no fault of their own, are suffering. You are sympathetic to the needs of humanity. If you knew how, you would correct all injustice as a cosmic parent or guardian would. You have a good sense of loyalty and are a natural counselor. You are artistic, kind, and inclined toward conventionality but broad-mined. When your emotions aren't too involved you are a fine judge of character. Your life can be richer if you cultivate firmness and assertiveness to better balance your emotions and sense of justice, and realize that others have their own valid points of view.

Life Path: Here are clues to what fate has in store for you. It indicates the type of encounters, events, and opportunities you are likely to experience along your physical life path.
You are drawn to movements or organizations with idealistic aims. You have a tendency to be caught up in fanatical cults or other fringe movements. Your path includes diplomacy in its various aspects - smoothing the affairs of others with discretion, tact, intuition, cooperation, patience, persistence, persuasion and loyalty to those you serve; being the peacemaker, cultivating friendships, and helping others reach their goals. Your path is easier when you express kindness and gentleness and are considerate of others' feelings. Your path includes developing your talents of invention, seeking the discovery of new principles, and elevating everything to a plane of inspiration. If you decide to investigate the psychic, healing, and metaphysical fields, you will be able to put them to their highest use. Trust your intuitions, expire by your own example. You can effect more change by persuasion than through force. Your opportunities are along spiritual lines or in the realms of invention, metaphysics, politics, or acting. You are liable to achieve great public attention and influence if you do not seek the for ulterior motives. You do well helping others reach their goals.

There are a lot of similarities between this post and the synopsis of The ENFP. I find this explanation extremely valid, minus a few minor things. I think one of the most valid statements about me is that I can enhance my life by better defining my purposes. With each new lesson I learn, and each time my knowledge of self is furthered I come closer and closer to finding me and finding my life path. Or maybe it's more like I have found the path and now I'm slowly embarking upon trek.
