So on my list I have to read one new book a month. For January I chose The Iron Maiden by Peter Lancett. It was a strange book. If you like really graphic, brit-lit novels then I suggest it for you but if that's not your cup of tea I say skip it. The ending was not what I was expecting and left more to be desired I felt. It was also really difficult to get into in the beginning, but it pics up and can be finished quickly after that. Only it took me a long time to read it because I would read right before going to sleep. All in all - not a complete waste of time.
For February I am going to power through Deepak Chopra's The Book of Secrets. I am already on page three or four and am absolutely loving it. Seriously, this man would probably be considered a prophet in another time. Can't wait to write my full review of it after I read it.
