Proust Questionnaire

I think we all know that one of my desires is to one day be famous for something. My hope is that it is for something worthwhile. My favorite magazine, well the magazine that has most recently become my favorite, is Vanity Fair. I would love to have a cover someday. But more than having a cover I hope to be influential enough to be given the Proust Questionnaire. Since I haven't done anything worthwhile yet, I'm going to give it to myself. Hopefully one day I can compare the answers of this blog to that of the answers I have finally given Vanity Fair.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
My idea of perfect happiness is to be content with who I am. To know that I have done the best with what I have been given, and to know that if given another choice I would not change a thing.

What is your greatest fear?
That I will never make a difference.

What is your most marked characteristic?
Randomness. People, myself included, never know what I am going to come up with next.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
My fear of being left alone. I'm too much for myself to handle sometimes.

Which living person do you most despise?
I wish I was good enough to say no one. At the moment it is most definitely Megan Fox. She let's her celebrity go to her head and she just seems very insincere.

What is your greatest extravagance?
Clothes. I would spend my last penny on them. Particularly a killer dress.

What is your current state of mind?
Contemplative.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
Sophistication.

On what occasion do you lie?
Again I wish I was good enough to say never. I lie when it's nicer than the truth.

What do you dislike most about your appearance?
My mouth. It's smaller than I wish it were.

What is the quality you most like in a man?
Humility.

What is the quality you most like in a woman?
Inward beauty that is then reflected outward.

Which word or phrases do you most overuse?
I laugh, a lot.

What or who is the greatest love of your life?
The what would be reading, I love learning new things. The who would be God, enough said.

When or where were you happiest?
Playing with my barbies as a kid. They could be what, or whoever I wanted them to be. They had the greatest adventures.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I would be more resourceful with all that I have been given. I would put action behind ALL of my interests.

Which talent would you most like to have?
Playing the guitar. Then again, I have never really tried that. Yet...

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Still being alive.

If you were to die and come back as a person or thing, what do you think it would be?
A person. I'm happy with who I am, but I would like to try life out in another person's shoes.

Where would you like to live?
In a cliff side house in Oregon, nestled away in the trees. Far enough, yet still close to a little town where every one knows every one else's name.

What is your most treasured possession?
My imagination.

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
Feeling as though you are not loved.

What is your favorite occupation?
I'll let you know as soon as I find out.

Who is your favorite hero of fiction?
At the moment, Gandalf the Grey/White.

What are your favorite names?
Cadence Ember, and Aleksandar Cael

What is it that you most dislike?
Ignorance, presumption, and hate.

How would you like to die?
Peacefully and happily.

What is your motto?
Laugh.
